Discipline Hearing - 12/16 Nov 2009

Aston Rowant had appealed against the following verdicts at the original hearing:-

1. The deduction of 25 points from the total points attained by the club in the 2009 season.
2. The reprimand recorded against the their captain Wesley Morrick
3. The penalty imposed on Timothy Miles of a one year ban commencing 1st October 2009 and a further ban of one year commencing 1st October 2010. The latter ban is suspended but will become effective immediately should he commit any further breach of discipline in the period up to 30th September 2011.

The Appeal Panel decided that

1. The 25 point deduction should be withdrawn and replaced by a 40 point deduction suspended until the end of the 2010 season. Should any Aston Rowant player be reported to the HCPCL for any disciplinary matter during the 2010 season, the point's deduction will automatically be activated.
2. The reprimand recorded against Wesley Morrick should be withdrawn.
3. The penalty against Timothy Miles was confirmed.

Basingstoke appealed against the ban imposed on Dean Nurse of one year commencing 1st October 2009 and a further ban of one year commencing 1st October 2010. The latter ban is suspended but will become effective immediately should he commit any further breach of discipline in the period up to 30th September 2011.

The Appeal Panel decided that Dean Nurse should be banned until 1st August 2010 with a further ban of one year suspended until 1st August 2011. The latter ban will become effective immediately should he commit any further breach of discipline in the period up to 1st August 2011.

The decision of the Appeal Panel is final and binding.
